  I thought I would leave an honest review here. My husband and I lived at Wheaton center Apartments for a year. We didn't have any major issues and yes, we would recommend it, but here are some considerations. The location is great, downtown Wheaton is cute and right next to a metra station. We lived in a two bedroom apartment in building 5. Lets be honest, they are old buildings, and yes we did have to call maintenance here and there, maintenance team was great. One complaint I did have was the poor paint quality, it felt like we couldn't touch the walls without leaving a mark or damaging the paint and considering there might be lead under there, it bothered me. Also, moving in and out with furniture to the second floor in the building was a nightmare. We ended up accidentally damaging their poor quality wall and they were happy to charge us to get that fixed. Honestly we didn't even realize we did this, but they were sure it was us. Anyways, the gym is great! No complaints there. The pool area is cute, but too small for the amount of residents. We did not have much issues with noise, our unit was pretty quiet. Parking really is annoying, it becomes very hard to find a spot at night. We ended up getting tickets for having to park on the street a few times and forgetting to move our cars in the morning. BUT it is free!! My husband and I pay $250 to park our car in a uncovered parking lot where we live no SO I wouldn't complain too much. I think that about covers it. The apartment complex really is decent and staff was nice. I think people have high hopes since they call themselves "luxury apartment" so maybe they should just call themselves "apartment complex" lol. I wouldn't mind renting there again if we moved back to that area.
